In physics education I avoid the expression 'centrifugal force'. I know of course what is meant by that expression, but I avoid it in education because I judge it to be BAD PHYSICS EDUCATION. Likewise I try to avoid as much as possible to use the expression ,'Coriolis force', because in fact no such thing as a Coriolis force exists. Coriolis effects can and should always be accounted for as a manifestation of inertia.
