Well, the original idea was to make a specialist shop for metal in general, but that's a long time ago. Normal metal isn't very popular any more, all the children are listening to 'death' metal now. This will help us earning money so that we can order more EVIL records to the evil people. Polaris sits in the middle of the Great Bear and Cassiopeia (note the long dashed line) and is actually part of the constellation 'Little Bear'. If you can find Cassiopeia and the Great bear you should be able to find Polaris. It is not absolutely necessary, to find at first the constellation 'Little Bear', because often it will not be discovered before Polaris was found, and not vice versa. But frequently I, Walter, find interesting global-wikimedia news in the village pump of my home-wiki, WikipediaNL. Or discover by pure luck changes to the behavior of the software.

Nothing that I have seen up to now in your reaction(s) has been constructive in any way. Frankly, I find this personally very childish and it is unfair for the people who are working as hard as they can to make Wikimania, wherever it is, a good conference. They did not lie, things change in time. Sponsors fall in and out. And most of those that are mentionned here are actually sponsors of the conference.

I will make sure financial statements are provided. I know them, I have been working on them, I am spending time right now to make sure to find scholarship money for as many people as possible, and I can ensure that many people are trying to make their best for the event to be a success. I will make sure that next year the decision process is more polished, to ensure fairness.
